Wet & Wild

Harborside At Atlantis, Paradise Island - Something for Everyone!

What makes Atlantis Resort & Casino unique is its size and diversity. The resort is essentially a water/theme park, high-end resort, tropical oasis and world-class aquarium all rolled into one, so there are plenty of things to do!

Pools & Water Rides

Aquaventure

Aquaventure is Atlantis Resort & Casino's 63-acre waterscape. The Power Tower sits in the middle of a mile-long river ride called The Current. Riders are pushed along in their tubes – double or single – by a series of rapids, waves and surges. No need to exit your tube to access the slide rides at the top of the Tower – conveyor belts transport riders to the top. Once there, riders can choose from three tube slides: The Drop, The Falls or The Surge. Braver souls can abandon their tubes for a vertical drop through The Abyss.

Mayan Temple Pool & Slides

The Mayan Pool sits at the base of the Mayan Temple which houses the Leap of Faith (another vertical drop slide), the Jungle Slide, the Serpent Slide (which empties into a clear tube surrounded by sharks) and the Challenger Slides (side-by-side slides that time each rider's descent to the bottom). There are also a series of smaller slides, hot tubs and waterfalls around the base of Mayan Pool.

Pools

There are numerous other pools located throughout the Atlantis Resort & Casino property: The Beach Tower Pool, The Baths, The Grotto, The Lagoon, The Lap Pool, The River and The Royal Baths Pool. There are also three pools for smaller kids: the new Splashers Pool, Ripples Kids Pool and Poseidon's Kids Pool.

Atlantis Resort & Casino Beaches

The Atlantis Resort & Casino is situated on a beautiful Caribbean Beach. Water sports on the beach are run by vendors who are not affiliated with Atlantis Resort & Casino. However, these vendors are reputable, follow safety guidelines, and are licensed and monitored by Nassau officials.

  • Jetskis — Typically $50 for the half hour. One jetski can be shared by two people, or three if two are children.
  • Banana Boat — Try out this large banana float pulled by a speedboat for a hilarious, bumpy, wet & wild ride. $12 per person.
  • Parasailing — 5-7 minute ride for $50 per person.

There is some room for negotiation on the above rates if business is slow and/or you are a large group.

There are also two smaller lagoon beaches on the Atlantis Resort & Casino property. These beaches are a little quieter and offer snorkeling, paddle boat and kayak rentals. Guests can also sign up for SCUBA lessons here.
